About BenchMath

BenchMath is a free collection of calculators for everyday molecular biology work: making solutions and buffers, setting up PCR and qPCR, pooling sequencing libraries, counting and seeding cells, and more.

It was made by a molecular biology and genetics student who spends a lot of time at the bench and wanted the calculations done there to be fast, clear and in one place. Every calculator runs in your browser, works on a phone, and needs no account.

Accuracy

Each calculator shows the formula it uses and a short explanation, so you can check the logic yourself. The results are meant to support, not replace, your own judgement and your lab's protocols. Always double-check values before using them for important experiments.
